Oh, Bookstore. XD
Today, around 2:20 PM, I went to buy something from the Bookstore since Lane wasn’t open (the meal plan is closed.) In the long run, I applied for a job there (I already applied for a job at Chester’s, too.)
Anyways, on the form, it said “what skills do you have?”
I thought about this for a good 15-20 minutes.
Aside from being able to work with Microsoft stuff and all, I out down HTML coding and retail (I used to work for fun-it wasn’t part time, but I enjoyed it.)
This just made my day.

Stressed? I think so.
I do owe a reason why I’ve been really stressed lately, so here goes:
I was almost forced to switch my major.
It’s not of academic-wise stuff (Iwhich I’m alright with,) it’s more on the terms of stress-level. Before this semester ended, I had a migraine stage 3…which almost led to a 4; and trust me on this one. This is BAD. I have dealt with this before, but I couldn’t really do much about it until now,
Most of the stage 3 came from overpushing mysel with work, work, work, practice, work, practice, orchestra, work, sectionals, quiz/exams, study, study, study, study, work, stay up until 2 AM working all the time. I would do this every. Single. Day. You see? It’s not healthy.
So, I talked to my advisor today, and she told me that it would be best to withdraw from one class per semester for future success/health terms. Although it would take me 1/2 or 1 more year to graduate (which is a biiit late,) I don’t think this would kill. So, I would be graduating in 4 1/2years or 5.
Hopefully, some of my stress levels will go down.
I finally watched Avatar: The Last Airbender’s 1st Season…

Turning Children’s Drawings to Toys by Child’s Own Studio
Remember all that crazy shit you drew as a kid? True story: when I was but a wee lad I was fond of drawing bones with wings on them. There was a whole family of them. Why? Who the hell knows, kids are weird! But how awesome would have been if a cool company like this existed: where they take children’s drawings and convert them to real world toys. Maybe one day my Flying Bones with faces can get the same treatment. Check out tons more at their flickr

A quick prayer.
Aside from my violin jury (which I semi-passed. I get really nervous when I need to do this,) Ive been recommended to switch my B.A. In Music Education to a B.A in Music.
Thing is…I DON’T want to do this.
I WANT to teach orchestra, piano, choir, ear training, music history, etc.
It’s not much of the grades or anything, its ‘s more of my fear of speaking in public to children. I might know what the issue is. Maybe I’m just too tense when I talk. Maybe I have such a high standard of teaching. It might be those….
But please.
Pray for me.
I don’t want to switch my major.
And in all honesty, I would probably just…Oh I don’t even know…wither if they forced me to switch,
I have dedicated my life to teach to help my public high school get out of the ruts and establish a finer public arts program/education.
Done with finals?
HECK YEAH.
I’ll miss roommate, suite mate, friends, and teachers…and the music department. Sigh.
